The year that Trek's Aaron Gwin realised his potential, upsetting the old order with possibly the most dominant display of riding seen in the history of the UCI World Cup.
With young guns Danny Hart, Brook MacDonald and Troy Brosnan establishing themselves as top ten contenders and potential race winners, 2011 hailed a new dawn in World Cup racing. 2012 Boxxer Zerode Team VDHS 4 Mt. Buller
CWR's Tim Eaton continued his solid form at Mt. Buller for the 4th round as interstate heavy weights again attacked the VicDH scene, providing some of the best competition in the country.
Tim took his Zerode to the podium once again and remains in a strong title fight with Connor Fearon that will now go down to the 5th and final round to be held at the short and explosive Mt. Tarrengower track atop of Maldon.
Henry Blake put in a clean and fast qualifier and looked good to reclaim some points for the series but a small error had big consequences in the final.
Clint pulled on the kit of Marcus Fairbanks for the day as Fairbanks was ruled out due to injury. Marcus missed valuable points in the overall points chase but hopes to be ready for next weekends national round which is also to be held at Mt. Buller.
