Scott Bikes Welcomes Geoff Kabush

When one of our all-time favourite Canuck athletes and his new team-to-be came to us and asked for a little help putting out the announcement regarding where he was headed for the upcoming season, we jumped in. Originally engaged to shoot photo stills to support the press release and associated collateral, we pitched SCOTT - 3 Rox Racing with an expanded engagement to add video, hoping to give Geoff's fans a better idea of what he's about, how his decision came about and where he'll be focusing his attention in the coming year(s).

Shot on location at Cinderbloc Studio and while the sun was setting along some of Victoria, BC's lesser ridden [read between the lines here] singletrack. Big ups to Geoff and SCOTT - 3 Rox - we'll be hollering from the sidelines.

CWR Boxxer/Zerode Team At RD3 Mt. Beauty

Turn on HD, crank the volume to 11 and enjoy as JL Media turns out another cracking edit!!

Mt. Beauty is being heralded as one of the best tracks in the country after the recent work put into it by Team Mt. Beauty and was exactly what all the riders had been waiting for.

The BoXXer Zerode team had mixed results this round. Tim Eaton continued his good form and took to the Elite Mens podium in 2nd place. Marcus Faibanks moved up to 4th in the overall after finishing 9th and while it didn't go Henry's way on Sunday, he had good speed all weekend and will seek redemption at the next round.

2011 Victorian DH Series Round 3 Mt. Beauty

Victorian DH Series 2011/2012 Round 3 - Mt. Beauty from Liam Renaut on Vimeo.

Dusty, Steep, Technical, Loose, Rad, Insane, Fast...

All these describe the amazing track at Mt. Beauty, it is always such a pleasure to go to a race that has the whole town backing the race.

This season saw a track that hadn't been run for a while, the old nationals track. 300 odd riders took on the beast, giving it there best shot to stay on and get down the mountain the quickest.

Being such a renowned track, plenty of interstate riders made the trek over, elite was set to be an interesting one, with the panozzo brothers out from there secret den to show the outsiders how true locals do it, finishing in 3rd and 4th, not a bad weekend for them. Jesse Beare was very disappointed with his run at Shepparton and was hoping for a much better result, he flew down with style and landed himself a 5th. Tim Eaton was coming off stoked from a win at shepparton, and was loving the track, he gave it his all in his race run and ended up snapping 2nd place. This track suited Connor Fearon a lot and he was so keen to just keep riding it, but race time came along and after qualifying first by over 5 seconds, he was saying he could go even faster in his race run..... he came pinning down the shute with the whole crowd cheering him on, taking the win in elite men!!

As always, Dean Lucas... wow. This kid is a superstar! he came down through the shute faster and crazier than anyone else, taking the U19 win and placing him second overall for the day behind Connor.
