Zerode Bikes Now In USA

Zerode bikes are now available in the United States. With their use of a centralized Shimano Alfine gearbox they have achieved a bike with a more centralized weight mass. Moving the weight off the rear wheel also helps the suspension work more efficiently and also results in a more balanced bike.
The high pivot placement helps fight pedal bob and also keeps the bike carrying speed through rough terrain. The rearward axle path keeps the rear wheel moving away from forces it encounters out on the trail.
Another not to be overlooked feature is the elimination of the derailleur, cassette, and chain-guide system of standard bikes. The gearbox can run for years with little if any maintenance and will also help prevent the chain from wearing out.
