The Path To Victory: Brook MacDonald Rides Val d'Isere
In the 4th episode of Fabien Barel presents, Brook MacDonald gets a taste of the DH and all mountain riding offered in Val d'Isere. Maybe Brook's experience with Fab in the high alpine mountains was an inspiration, as he won the DH world cup there just 5 days later ...
Best Of The 2012 iXS EDC Pila
If we were to sum up the iXS MTB World Cup weekend at Pila in one word, it would have to be 'Challenging'. In two words, 'Challenging' and 'Tough'. In three words, 'Challenging', 'Tough' and 'Muddy'.
An event affected by the fickle whims of Mother Nature, some riders were met with rain during their run, while others saw fortune - and sunlight - shine down on them as the heavens stopped pouring long enough to give them a semi-dry run.
First to ride were the men, with Robin Wallner (SWE - Team Åre Bikepark), Oscar Härnström (SWE - Pila Black Arrows) and Joshua Button (AUS - SC Intense) taking first, second and third places respectively - Button recorded the fastest time during the period of rain.
In the women's race Floriane Pugin (FRA - Scott 11) won, followed in second place by Emilie Siegenthaler (Scott 11) and Emmeline Ragot (MS MONDRAKER) in third.

SRAM: Steve Smith Wandering Teaser
It could have something to-do with his eyes (as crazy looking as they are) or the sheer determination that his amazing mother instilled in him at such a young age. In all honesty it's probably a perfect combination of maturity, skill and that determination that we have all grown to love. This is a look behind the eyes of what is and will be one of the most exciting Canadian DH racers of all time.
Steve is relentless.
Stay tuned during the week of August 28th for the full length feature.
