2012 Halo BDS Round 4 Caersws With SPS

The Steve Peat Syndicate competes at the 4th round of the Halo British Downhill series at Caersws, Wales.

With riders returning from injury the team is nearly competing in full force with only the weather to upset proceedings.

The riders experienced a mix bag of results with the Junior category being heavily upset by the rain, riders were finding themselves on dry tyres in heavy rain and as more and more seeded riders came down the hill the track became slicker and slicker!

Coming down before the rain Glen Peppett remained super consistent and finish in 5th place.

Its three weeks until Bringewood where the popular Pearce series venue will hold a BDS round for the first time.

2012 Halo BDS Round 4 - Caersws By Ride.io

Ride.io presents all the action from Round 4 of the 2012 Halo British Downhill Series at Caersws, Wales.

Caersws is one of the shorter tracks visited by the national series, but very challenging nonetheless. Mixed weather bathed the Welsh hillside throughout the weekend, however a heavy shower rolling through before elite finals threw a spanner in the works for many racers, with only the toughest battling through the conditions to a good result.
