An event affected by the fickle whims of Mother Nature, some riders were met with rain during their run, while others saw fortune - and sunlight - shine down on them as the heavens stopped pouring long enough to give them a semi-dry run.
First to ride were the men, with Robin Wallner (SWE - Team Åre Bikepark), Oscar Härnström (SWE - Pila Black Arrows) and Joshua Button (AUS - SC Intense) taking first, second and third places respectively - Button recorded the fastest time during the period of rain.
In the women's race Floriane Pugin (FRA - Scott 11) won, followed in second place by Emilie Siegenthaler (Scott 11) and Emmeline Ragot (MS MONDRAKER) in third.
