Shea Jordan In The USA

After living in Argentina for the past 18 years and being plagued by injury. Shea decided to take some time off from the bike. Not knowing if he would ever be able to ride again he shifted his focus to moving back home to the states to further his eduction.

Over the past two years Shea has settled into "normal" society going to school for structural engineering and working a nine to five job at a local bike shop. It took two years for Shea to realize that riding a bike is a form of sanity and it made him who he is and he was not about to quit on it.

Shea has his eyes fixed on transferring into Sand Diego States engineering program and breaking into the Pro DH class the next few years should be an interesting few for this unique individual.

Like always any support or sponsorships for advancing his goals is appreciated.

Pursuing Perfection Presented By Saint

The points start collecting from the very first beep of the season at round one. The pressure of their presence sits on riders’ shoulders all year. The ticking clock may stop after each run but the abacus never stops, it only pauses between races to coil the riders springs even tighter. Until eventually the chips are counted at the final round.

Mojo Trail Diary Morocco Part 3 With Fabien Barel And Mark Weir

A mountain that is 20kms away can look as smooth as a billiard table... So what looked like it should have been a short stroll up a reasonably steep golf course from our breakfast table on day 2 turned out to be an attempt at Jbel Erdouz a ‘proper’ 3600m mountain on day 3! The bit that looked like a Golf course turned out to be a 45-50° boulder field with no real path and brush and thorns tough enough to scratch paintwork!

It’s said that a camera can’t adequately convey the steepness of terrain or the depth of the experience, but when you have riders of the calibre of Mark Weir and Fabien Barel one-footing it down through the scree and the brush you know it’s steep! Look out also for the dirt and small stones being thrown up by the tyres and blown sideways! A proper mountain environment where the boys were glad to get down with the only casualty being a rear derailleur!

Although the Trail Diary gang were quite literally blown away by the big mountain experience, they were quite glad to get back on the road looking for a more relaxed, flowy trail in the grey earth area on the way to the final stop in Marrakesh. Poor Fab’s face when the monkey guys ambush him is priceless!

2012 Megavalanche Clash Of The Titans

Last July Italian video maker Gianluca Ricceri followed Jérome Clementz (2010 Megavalanche winner) and Rémy Absalon (2011 Megavalanche winner) during the whole week that eventually led to THE race of the year, the Megavalanche 2012.
Enjoy!
About the Megavalanche
A race that does not need much of an introduction, the grueling Megavalanche in l'Alpe d'Huez is a legend in its own right, a mass start downhill marathon, starting from the Pic Blanc glacier 3.300 meters above sea level. About 2.000 riders take part each year in July in l'Alpe d'Huez. More than 30 nationalities are represented.

Bluegrass Factory Development
Both Rémy Absalon and Jérome Clementz are members of the Bluegrass Factory Development team.
About Bluegrass
The origin of the legend of the Bluegrass Eagle has been lost in the passage of time. Possessing supernatural powers, it could transform its plumage into an impenetrable carapace. Its spirit, noble and free, has inspired our range of protective gear.

Proudly brought to you by Bluegrass.
