2015 Mont-Sainte-Anne Qualifying highlights
Friday’s Downhill World Cup qualifying session here in Mont-Sainte-Anne was wetter than an otter's pocket.
Five minutes before series leader Aaron Gwin was due to leave the start hut a storm of epic proportions took hold over the track, turning what was a sun-baked brute into a rain soaked swamp in a matter of minutes.
2015 UCI DH World Cup Mont-St-Anne Practice
The riders may have been counting their lucky stars that they missed the torrential downpour that hit Mont-Sainte-Anne at the end of practice yesterday but they may be facing some soggy conditions underneath when they take to qualifying today.
Danny Hart is the master of such conditions and headed timed training at the end of practice. With more rain forecast over the weekend it may just be time for Danny to finally register a World Cup win. Stevie Smith definitely won’t be challenging. An ankle injury rules him out of the rest of the weekend.
The Parkin brothers bring you the best of the practice action from the Canadian World Cup venue.
2015 UCI MTB World Cup Lenzerheide Preview
Scheduled for the beginning of July, the Swiss resort is – along with Lourdes – one of the new venues this year. Lenzerheide will welcome the season’s first combined XCO/DHI event, which will also be the first of three rounds (2015-2017) at the venue in the lead-up to the 2018 UCI World Championships. The Swiss, traditionally strong in XCO, will have the chance to race at home and the athletes wait impatiently the first weekend of July.
How to make a race report ? Leogang WC and 26TRIX
Leogang welcome every year a MTB DH world cup stop and the slopestyle event 26Trix.
Polygon UR team had a rough week end in Leogang with up and down. But that’s why we love racing.
We wondered how we could make a race report when it’s a tough time so we asked our riders what they think about it.
